Remembering an Old Goal

So while I was studying and thinking about what Stu and I could do for fun this weekend, I remembered that we were slowly working through a cookbook my sister-in-law sent me and decided to do some more cooking.  We made a black-bottom peanut butter pie and a broccoli and cheesy potato quiche.  They were both fabulous. 7 done and 93 to go. We would like to extend a warm thank-you to Laura again for saving our Saturday!

Camping a month ago

We went camping last month with some friends in the ward.  We stayed in Huntsville State Park with the alligators and towering pines.  Mark and Amy are hard core campers to have braved the freezing temperatures we had that night.  The freezing night was followed by a beautiful day with a 7 mile hike.  Thanks to Mark and Amy for the pictures and being so willing to go.

Update

Now that I'm done my amateur string of poetry that took much longer than anticipated... a quick recap.  Stu and I spent Christmas in Texas with Allen, Ginger, and Chris. We had lots of fun watching movies, playing games, and wandering around Houston.  We both had a nice break from school and are knee-deep in studies once again.  I will be graduating this May, and Stuart is graduating this December.  We went camping one weekend in freezing weather, but survived the frost and enjoyed the warm company.  Our coming plans are to have our Uncle Bruce and Aunt Reva visit in March, I am going to Pennsylvania in April to participate in the Donor Dash in support of my late sister and organ donors, and Abby is coming in May to visit Texas for the first time, we hope to also go on a cruise or road trip in May, and then hopefully start my first job as a nurse in June!  During this time Stu and I are starting a garden, quickly building up our food storage, and making improvements to our house which have yet to be revealed.  Sorry for the lack of pictures... hopefully they will be coming soon.
