Sewing Marathon at a Close

I finally finished the crib skirt and window valance for the nursery.  I also finished washing all the new baby clothes, and put away all the toys and blankets.  This room is becoming more of a nursery every day.  We're definately excited to bring baby girl home.

Our McAllister Missionaries

Chris and Ginger have been called to go on missions.  Ginger already left to serve in the Everett, Washington mission, and Chris is leaving November 2nd for the North Santiago, Chile mission.  We are so excited for them, and think that they make a good looking pair of missionaries.  Best of luck you two!

Pennsylvania Shower

My little sister wanted to throw me a shower as her last project for her 2nd young women's medallion and it was a success.  The pictures of opening presents were a little dark so I took pictures at home so that people could get a good look at what baby girl got.  I had a great time in Pennsylvania, and I'm so sad we live so far away.  Thanks to everyone for their love and generosity.  After I get the nursery cleaned up, I'll post final pictures of the baby bedding that I have finished.

Utah Baby Shower

When Stu and I went to Utah, our Aunt Reva was nice enough to organize it and Aunt Susan hosted it at her house.  Thanks so much to everyone who helped to make the party such a huge success.  We are so excited to introduce baby girl to everyone, and she is going to be so stylish!  The cousins thought it would be fun to dress Stu up as a pirate, and he was gracious enough to let them.

Hiking in Bryce

Stu and I went to Utah on vacation.  We hiked (or at least I attempted) part of the rim to the canyon.  Note to self: hiking is much harder when you are pregnant.
