Another historic landmark
We enjoyed visiting Galveston to ride the ferry and see wild dolphins. We visited some historic landmarks. We visited The Strand, which is a shopping strip dating back to 1900. We also picniced and played in the surf. We a little sunburn and sand in our shoes, we had a great day! 
The Woodlands Mall has a lot of neat sculptures and artwork outside and in. I snapped a few shots of a fraction of whats actually there. 
Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory was awesome! I loved the elaborate architecture. The cheesecake was obviously the best part!
Our next stop was the Holocaust Museum. There is a very powerful message there and I think everyone should visit to remember the importance of not repeating history. That night we made another recipe from "the book". This one is called Praline Brookies. I mixture of cookie and brownie. They were to die for. 95 to go. 
This time, Stu and I tried the Tomato and Crab Bisque and Double Strawberry Baked Alaska. Both were amazing! So the soup is ready to serve tomato basil soup with a can of green chiles and a cup of cream. Then you add a lump of crab meat to stir in as you eat the soup. The baked Alaska is a scoop of strawberry ice cream on top of a cookie. Then you cover it with meringue and bake it for 4 mins. The double for the strawberry comes from the added strawberry sauce on top. So, 4 recipes down....... 96 to go! My Aunt Reva is coming this week so I suspect some mores posts will be popping up soon.
