A Visit to the Baytown Nature Center

The marsh Monarch.
A lovely grasshopper for Izzy.
I couldn't resist the close-ups of the beautiful moths, butterflies, and flowers.

This is a Heron (water bird) foot print.
This is my favorite flower shot.
This is a water Ingrid.

We thought we'd strike a pose.
This is the Texas monument where the battle for Texas independence was fought.

This is the Fred Hartman Bridge.
We made some baked oatmeal with apples, craisins, and pecans to eat at the park.

So Baytown has a wonderful nature center that presents the marshes in their natural and clean environment. We enjoyed walked around the park, and seeing all of the viewpoints since the center touches three different bays.
